Lynda Valdez, RNC, MSN, FNP Nurse Practitioner, The Med Spa

Sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for maintaining vibrant, healthy skin while minimizing signs of aging, Lynda Valdez is reaching out to help guests at The Med Spa at Daireds. She is trained in cosmetic procedures such as administering Botox, Restylane and Radisse, as well as being certified to perform laser procedures such as skin rejuvenation and hair reduction.
 
Before joining The Med Spa at Daireds, Lynda Valdez, APRN, BC, practiced family medicine and neurosurgery. A Registered Nurse since 1973, Valdez’s experience extends to emergency medicine, intensive and coronary care and a private practice consulting hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex regarding advance skin and wound care.
 
Valdez earned a Bachelor degree in Nursing and a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. She graduated with Honors and was recognized on the National Dean’s list and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society of nursing.
 
Staying active is also important to Valdez. She has been practicing yoga for the last 13 years and taught for six. Additionally, she rides horses and plays golf and the violin.

INFANT MASSAGE CLASS TEACHES BENEFITS AND TECHNIQUES

Long believed, and now proven, infant massage holds physical, mental and health benefits for both parents and children. And now, parents can learn infant massage techniques during a hands-on seminar offered the first Thursday night of each month by Daireds Salon and Spa Pangéa. The class, taught by a certified infant massage instructor, and focuses on infants (up to one year) and toddlers (children who have begun walking or up to two years of age.)
