Grand Re-Opening of Daireds I-20 Location
GRAND RE-OPENING OF DAIREDS SALON & SPA PANGEA
I-20 LOCATION SET FOR FEBRUARY 22, 2010
EXACTLY ONE YEAR AFTER FIRE DAMAGE
ARLINGTON, TX - Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea will re-open its original I-20/Bowen Road location in south Arlington exactly one year after an electrical fire which caused smoke and structural damage to the 18,000 square-foot facility. Daireds grand re-opening is scheduled for Monday, February 22, 2010. Guests will enjoy special events and promotions during the first two weeks to celebrate and preview the upgraded amenities and décor.
Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea Owner, Daired Ogle says guests can expect to see many exciting changes in the redesigned salon and spa. “Many of the changes were inspired by our guests’ comments, along with our vision of the future and trends we see in an ever-changing environment,” Ogle said. The most significant change for spa guests is the updated and expanded spa nail room. “Guest’s feedback helped us to design a more comfortable experience. The room is both wider and longer to accommodate updated pedicure chairs while still looking out onto the beauty of the Pangea garden. This room has always provided a sense of escape, but now the treatment experience is even more comfortable,” says Ogle.
The salon at Daireds has been dramatically redesigned with all new décor and a color scheme of reds and oranges. “There are a few surprise features like the large 20-foot Chinese dragon coming out of the ceiling,” says Ogle. “In addition to the décor changes, we’ve also reworked the placement of the stylists’ stations and guest seating to provide a better guest experience.” Additionally, pedi and mani fanatics will love the addition of a new nail area inside the salon. While guests are receiving salon treatments, they will have the option to receive a relaxing nail treatment at the same time. “Many of our guests have expressed the wish to have pedicures while their hair color is being processed,” Ogle said. Service enhancements in the salon include a “color space” to give salon guests the opportunity to experience interactive hair color selection. Color mixing will take place right in the presence of the guest.
The Café at Daireds has also been completely re-designed to accommodate a stronger emphasis toward a healthy menu available to guests with or without an appointment in the salon or spa. The dining area will nearly double in size and an exterior door will allow guests to enter the Cafe without going through the lobby area of the salon and spa. Convenient to-go options will also be available for those craving a healthy meal with limited time or seeking a take-out option that isn’t typical fast food.
“The driving force behind the changes has been our commitment to customer service and our goal of supporting our guests’ healthy lifestyle, as well as the desire to create a ‘wow’ experience,” says Ogle. “We’re so thankful to our loyal guests who have continued their support during our reconstruction.” With the re-opening of Daireds’ I-20 location, the new north Arlington location at 915 Skyline Drive (I-30/Collins) will continue to provide services for guests who find the I-30 location more convenient.
