DAIREDS SALON & SPA PANGEA TO HOST SPECIAL, WEEK-LONG EVENT FOR NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARNESS MONTH
 
Promotional event to benefit Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth
 
Arlington, TX October 19, 2009 - In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea is proud to announce that they will be hosting a week-long, promotional event named Daireds Pink Week starting Sunday, October 25 - Saturaday, October 31. Daireds Pink Week will offer a wide array of salon, spa and med spa services, along with in-store retail products at a special discount. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth to support mammography services for underserved women in Tarrant County.
 
"I am extremely excited about the event and the opportunity to give back to such a valuable organization," said Daired Ogle, Owner of Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea. "I think we all feel the need to help with the fight against breast cancer as it touches so many people's lives."
 
Starting on October 25, consumers can easily support breast cancer research by visiting Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea to take advantage of the special discounts on salon, spa, med spa and in-store retail products for the entire week. Participants can also contribute to the cause by making donations directly at the Daireds north Arlington location (915 Skyline Drive) or the New Talent Center (3610 South Cooper Road).

The mission of the Kupferle Health Board of the Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation is to serve the women of Tarrant County by promoting women's health awareness through education and screenings. The Board's annual event, Puttin' on the Pink, raises funds for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth to help thousands of women by providing mammogram screenings, cervical and colon cancer screenings, bone density screenings and funding for lymphedema therapy.
