Labor of Love
“Each spa treatment available at Daireds is unique and we require that the products used be of the highest quality,”says Ogle. “Unfortunately, there were no products on the market that met our needs, so we began developing our own lotions and scrubs.” That need coupled with the desire to incorporate the healing effects of natural ingredients that Ogle had discovered through travel and research led him to create a line high in moisturizing Shea Butter and rich in passion fruit.

The Ingredients
Shea butter has been used in Africa for centuries to protect and heal the skin from harsh elements," says Ogle. "it's become such a popular ingredient now, but it's really an ancient healing treatment and that really piqued my interest early on." Coming from the nut of the West African Shea tree, the healing balm is a core ingredient for healing and moisturizing. "Another ingredient I'm fascinated with is passion fruit," says Ogle. Passion Fruit, high in vitamins A, C and E, is another key ingredient that provides antioxidants which are vital to the regeneration of healthy skin cells.

The Fragrance
Getting the fragrance just right was the biggest challege according to Ogle. Inspired by nature, a custom blend of tropical flower essence, tulip notes and herbs create a fragrance that is fresh, light and very long-lasting. Currently the signature fragrance of most treatments at Daireds Spa Pangea, the scent is getting rave reviews.

The Future
The future of the Spa Pangéa line of hydrating body products could eventually broaden into fragrance sprays and other products as additional testing
and adjustments are made. Ogle also hopes to introduce other lines focused on specific skin benefits and fragrances.
