I've been growing my hair out for what seems like forever and I'm in a constant struggle for something new. Anyone else have this problem and really want long, thick, flowing hair? Here are a few tips and ideas to help you pass the time:

  1. Besides exercising patience (lots of it), I've decided bangs are the answer! They create a new look around your face which gives the illusion of something new, while maintaining the length in the back. It's the perfect answer!
  2. Consult your colorist about changing your hair color. This easy change will keep you entertained for weeks at a time. Be sure you also grab a deep conditioning treatment since changing your color frequently can dry out your hair.
  3. Another way to keep you from getting bored is learning how to change the way you style your hair. Sometimes we can get stuck in a rut, so learning how you use new tools to curl, straighten or flip can keep you up-to-date.
  4. Accessories are another great option. Learn how to pull your hair back or simply accessorize use different bands and clips. This solution comes with the extra bonus of giving you an excuse to shop!

And of course your favorite stylist will also lend a sympathetic ear. So, consult your stylist to generate a personal plan to get you through this difficult time. If you don't find relief with these tips, maybe a good Thai Massage can awaken the patience in you. Have fun and good luck!
